| I know, I know, it's been a little while since my last post. Ok, maybe it's been a LONG while. All that matters now is that I've actually posted again. Ok, I know that not too many people know this, but I have begun a new job. Yup that's right, I no longer work at the evil thrift store. I now have my own office... Ok, so it's just a cubicle, but to me it's an office. My desk is huge! I get to order whatever I want as far as supplies go. The place has an awesome caffeteria where they make awesome food for cheap prices. I work with great people, and I get paid $11/hr. This is my third week on the job. I work for Public of Utilities for the City of Columbus. I work for the government basically. Anytime you run over a street light with your car, I am the one who handles it. I file and work on a computer so far. I'll be getting more jobs when I become more experienced. I get my first paycheck tomorrow and my sister was going to take me to the Eastland mall so I could shop, but she's too busy, and now there's no way for me to buy clothes for who knows how long. College is going good so far. But with work, classes and homework, I'm completely busy. Although I get 3 day weekends with this job, so I have plenty of time for enjoyment and relaxing, and getting caught up on homework of course. Ok, I gotta get ready for school now. C ya later! | | |
| Yay, I'm officially a college student! I start Columbus State sept. 20th. My schedule will be Monday: Eng 111 3-5:15, Math 105 5:45-7:50 Wednesday: Eng 111 3-5:15, Math 105 5:45-7:50, all on the main campus, then Thursday: Psych 101 5:30-9:50 In Grove City.
I'm also getting a new job. It'll be pick-your-own-hours, from morning to afternoon, which will work great for school, $10/hr, which is $4 more than what I get paid right now, and it'll be doing things like filing and writing up business letters, all stuff I've done in school for classes and for a job. And I'll be working for someone from church.
| Well, my graduation party is this Saturday, I'm going to Toledo with my family to be with my family (my relatives). I can't wait. I'm sharing my grad party with my cousin who is only 5 days younger than me.
Friday is Wyandot Lake, anyone wanna come?
I finally have my temps, have had it for about 2 weeks and I havn't gotten a single minute in driving yet. My mom has to stay home with the kids, my dad's always at work or at home working, my oldest sister has been way too busy lately, her husband is ALWAYS at work, even though he shouldnt be, and my 2 oldest brothers have their own lives, I don't even know what they do. So, somehow I have to learn how to drive before September, cuz that's when college starts. I'm saving up for a car, I've got $500 so far, I should have a car by not later than late August. Let's just hope that I'll actually be able to drive it when I get it.
If anyone is interested in cockatiels, I'm currently working on making a nesting box so my pair can mate. I can't wait to be able to raise my own cockatiels babies.
Mr. Lizard Man (my Savannah Monitor) is getting bigger, I think he's in another growth-spurt. I can't wait until he reaches 5'!
Ok, I think that's it for now, leave me some posts!
